Hello and welcome to my dental practice, Chester Smiles.

This dental clinic represents twenty years of my life, converting and developing a small home in Handbridge, Chester into a four surgery facility offering the very best in cosmetic dentistry and patient care.

Having decided at the age of fourteen years that Dentistry was my vocation, I have put my heart and soul into establishing not only a happy place of work but a pleasant and relaxing environment for my patients. I am continually striving for higher standards of professionalism and regularly attend postgraduate training courses both in the UK and abroad to stay ahead of the latest advances in dentistry.

My happy days at the Queens School, Chester led me to study for my degree in dentistry at Manchester University in 1977. After qualifying I gained experience in the casualty department of Manchester Royal Infirmary, and spent time in the community treating children and special needs groups. I also worked as an associate in a dental practice before establishing Chester Smiles in 1989.

My continued mission is to offer you a dental service with a truly personal touch and to give you the assurance of top-notch treatments with state of the art technology.

I am a member of the British Dental Association, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Federation of Facial Aesthetics. I am also an active member of the local dental health committee.

Dr Aston graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2006 with Honors and distinctions in the discipline of Oral Health and Restorative dentistry.

He is a member of the faculty of General Dental Practitioners and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.

Dr Aston has an active interest in all aspects of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Mr Mitchell qualified from Birmingham University in 1969.

He worked in hospital services and community dentistry before joining a practice in Chester in 1972. He had his own practice for 26 years before retiring from the NHS and joined Chester Smiles in 2006, where he works part-time.

Since graduating in 2003 from Manchester University with two clinical prizes, Dr Kailesh Solanki has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in advanced restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry completing yearlong courses in both. He has also completed a one-year course in implant dentistry and is fully qualified to place and restore dental implants. Having placed well over 300 dental implants he is also experienced in advanced implant techniques such as bone grafting and sinus lifts if needed. He enjoys treating nervous patients and has been praised by both adults and children for his informal and relaxed approach to dentistry. Dr Solanki is also qualified to administer both oral and intravenous sedative medications to help you to feel relaxed and relive all your anxieties.

Deborah qualified from Manchester Dental Hospital in 1992 where she was awarded the Ash prize for clinical excellence.
She worked as a staff hygienist at Manchester Dental Hospital for a number of years and then moved to Cheshire with her husband and has since worked in general practice.

Deborah has 15 years experience and has kept up to date with the latest information and technology through regular continuation professional development courses.
